Yann Joussein is a Paris-based drummer, electronic percussionist, improviser, and composer. His experimental practice traverses drum technique and electroacoustic sound, exploring a wide musical terrain that stretches from free jazz to noise and minimalism.

As co-founder and co-artistic director of the Parisian collective and label COAX, he has organized projects such as TRIBALISM, VIDEO GAME PARTY, PHOQUE ÉVENTRÉ, and RÉSERVÉ AUX INSENSÉS—works that inventively link music with the body and space.

In 2023, he released his solo album KEEP THE BASTARDS HONEST, presenting a striking new listening experience through a raw interplay of drums, analog synthesizers, and samplers.
